altAs the new school year is getting underway, students, teachers and their families are invited to join us for a blessing of the backpacks/school bags as part of our worship service on Sunday September 22nd. This is a chance to seek God’s blessing for every student and their families as they strive to realize their hopes and dreams for the new academic year ahead. We will also be covenanting with our Sunday School teachers as they too have an important role to play in our children’s education and deserve to be recognized and supported by their whole church family. All are welcome so please feel free to pass this invitation on to any friends and family who might be interested.

Fire at Barran Barbershop: We are saddened and concerned to learn of a suspicious fire in the early hours of July 6 at the Barran Barbershop. Insurance will help with expenses, but the barbers will be without income until the shop can be repaired and reopened. A Go Fund Me page has been set up for the families. If you are able to help, the best way to donate is online
